Tasting Notes

Boasting crisp fresh pear and apple blossom aromas, leading into a rich full mouth feel with ripe golden apple flavors and hints of Meyer lemon. Wonderful with miso beurre blanc butterfish or with slices of aged Parmigiano Reggiano over a bed of wild arugula with a squeeze of lemon and extra virgin olive oil. 208 cases produced.

Vineyard Notes

This crisp and well balanced Chardonnay comes from a private estate in the Central Coast. The cooler climate with warm afternoons allows the art of developing a high concentration of flavors from the fruit gradually. With ocean breezes sweeping eastward, channeled by the hills and mountains that ring the region. Heading east into the foothills, the temperatures are warm during the day and very cool during the night, whereas the vineyards that lie westward toward the ocean enjoy a mild and moderate climate. Coupled with soils that run the gamut from ancient beach and diatomaceous earth to chert and limestone.
