2013 Sauvignon Blanc
- 88 Points, 2015 Pacific Rim International Wine Competition
Elegant, bright and well balanced with lemon, lime, passion fruit aromas.
Medium-bodied this truly elegant Sauvignon Blanc does not tr y to overpower the palate, but shows remarkable depth and complexity and highlighting its long,
soft finish. Beautifully filled with bright citrus and mineral notes with hints of
honeysuckle on the palate. The crisp acidity and ripe lemon make this a classic
pairing for shellfish and rich seafood dishes as well as triple cream cow’s milk
cheese and your favorite French baguette. 20 1 cases produced.
This elegant Sauvignon Blanc originates its journey from a small, private estate
in Temecula Valley that practices the art of developing a high concentration of
flavors from the fruit by pruning 40% throughout the summer .
Temecula’s light, sandy loam soil, comprised mostly of decomposing granite,
permits water to drain easily. This forces the roots to grow deeper to find water, resulting in stronger vines and smaller grapes-- ideal for highly concentrated flavors. Temecula Valley AVA encompasses 33,000 acres. Approximately 1,300 acres are currently planted.
