Description

Tasting Notes:
Bright and well balanced, featuring fresh stone fruit and honeysuckle aromas with a sweet melon and orange blossom finish. Round mouth feel with good weight for a light wine, a stunning example of a Rhone-influenced wine in California. Great with spicy foods or triple cow’s milk cheese and your favorite baguette.

Vineyards:
This floral Viognier comes from a private estate in Temecula Valley that practices the art of developing a high concentration of flavors from the fruit by slowly stressing the vine. Temecula's light, sandy loam soil, comprised mostly of decomposing granite, permits water to drain easily. This forces the roots to grow deeper to find water, resulting in stronger vines and smaller grapes—ideal for highly concentrated flavors. The Temecula Valley AVA encompasses 33,000 acres, approximately 1,300 of which are currently planted.
